Brian heard about the Great Reno Balloon Race and the Dawn Patrol in school and really wanted to go so we got up at 4am on Saturday and drove down to Rancho San Rafael to watch. There were 5 Balloons that participated in the pre-dawn ascension and about 100 balloons that rose into the sky around 7am. It was really something. The Energizer Bunny was the biggest balloon and they passed out bunny ears in anticipation of its ascension.
